Tyler Button graduated from Regis Jesuit in 2000. He continued on to graduate from the University of Arizona with a B.A. in political science and philosophy ultimately completing his studies earning his M.ed in Special Education from the University of Northern Arizona.

 

Tyler spent over 10 years in a Special Education classroom teaching Junior High and High School History and social studies classes. Upon leaving to take care of his own children, Tyler started Tapestry Comics as a way to continue telling his favorite history stories in a way that built enthusiasm and literacy in the subject.

After two books, his work is sold in museums, reviewed by experts, and featured in school curriculums.
